From the very beginning, Solar Holler has been dedicated to helping reduce energy bills for the organizations that make West Virginia a wonderful place to live. Whether we use solar, demand response, or energy efficiency, the goal has always been the same –to help our communities reduce energy bills, while building a thriving 21st Century energy industry here in Appalachia.
Too many organizations—whether non-profit, municipal, or small businesses—have been unable to take advantage of high efficiency LED lighting to reduce their energy bills. After all, it doesn’t matter how much it saves if you don’t have the cash in the first place. Solar Holler set to work lining up all the pieces to make LED upgrades easy and hassle free and within reach of more West Virginian organizations than ever before. We’ve pulled together the best technology, and used our expertise in West Virginia utility law and finance to break down the financial barriers to energy efficiency. But best of all? It doesn’t cost organizations anything up front.
Solar Holler helped Harmony House swap out all of our lighting in our offices and homeless shelter to LEDs with no upfront cost. Now our office is brighter and better-lit. And we’ve cut our Appalachian Power bills, allowing us to better care for our homeless neighbors here in Huntington.
