We deliver solar, differently.
1 Top Notch Solar Engineering
Our design team completes an analysis of each site, including roof pitch, orientation, and shading before offering system design options. Not every home or business is a great spot for solar, and we’re straightforward about when solar is a good investment and when it’s not.
In 2020, the solar systems we installed produced 103.54% of what we had projected.
The system works exactly as you designed it, and time has proven you right. We haven’t paid more than a monthly statement fee to the utility company ever since. We love it, we absolutely love it.
2 Experienced, trained union electricians.
Solar Holler is a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Our installation teams draw from decades of electrical experience and strong union training. There are no shortcuts to high-quality, lasting work.
3 High-quality, US-made solar panels.
Not all solar panels are made the same. Our panels are made in Georgia and are backed by a 25-year warranty. Our commitment to building local economic opportunity runs throughout our business – including our decision to support the hundreds of workers building our solar panels in Dalton, GA. Plus, they look great! Our go-to panel is all black and so sleeeeek.

4 Financing at No Upfront Cost
To make solar easy and accessible, we offer low-interest financing – at no upfront cost. We’re already paying a power bill. With our financing, going solar is as simple as switching your monthly payment from the utility to solar. It’s like switching from a rent payment to a mortgage, when the mortgage is smaller. When you use our financing, you pay nothing out-of-pocket until the system is up and running.
When I compared my monthly electric bill to the solar loan payment I was like, ‘Let’s do this!’ Plus, I’m paying into a long-term investment. It’s really just a smart deal. [I tell friends] “Can you afford your electric bill? Then you can probably afford solar.”
5 Local - and Experienced
Our staff hail from every corner of our service area – from eastern Kentucky, throughout West Virginia, to the western side of Maryland. Our grandparents worked in mines and mills. We went to school here, and are now building our families here. We are your neighbors. We’ve also installed more solar than anyone else in central Appalachia: dozens of churches and businesses and hundreds of homes.
